Caesars Entertainment is among the latest Las Vegas companies to drop testing future employees over marijuana use, ABC Action News reported on Friday.
A spokesperson for Caesars said that they will only drug test employees if they have a reason to believe they’ve used drugs.
With the legalization of the recreational use of marijuana in Nevada on Jan. 1, 2017, some businesses started dropping the test to filter out potential employees.
The Associated Press reported that some hotels are skipping the test as well because managers are having a tough time finding workers who don’t use marijuana.
