Cannabis Company Houseplant Expands to Ontario

Founded by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Houseplant Enters another Canadian Market

June 10, 2019 – Toronto, Ontario: Houseplant has announced today plans to expand product availability to the province of Ontario this summer (2019). Founded by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and partnered with global cannabis and hemp company Canopy Growth, Houseplant will bring its premier product, Houseplant Sativa, to Ontario through provincially regulated retailers and online.

“It’s thrilling to be able to grow our company and give those in Ontario access to products that we are so proud of” said Seth Rogen, Co-Founder of Houseplant. “We can’t wait to continue sharing something that’s so special to us with more and more people as we expand across Canada.”

The Houseplant founders are focused on bringing additional product formats to new territories across Canada and deliver on their promise of supplying the highest quality cannabis products for Canadians through impressive yet easily identifiable design and unique strains.  Through educational materials Houseplant will guide people on how to enjoy cannabis safely and responsibly in a way that works for all experience levels.

“We’ve been blown away by the positive response from our native British Columbians,” said Houseplant’s Co-Founder Evan Goldberg. “Early on we made the decision to proceed with measured growth to make sure we don’t compromise the quality of our product or disappoint our customers. Ontario is an exciting next step for us.”

Not only is Houseplant committed to providing a responsible and enjoyable cannabis experience for all, it also recognizes the moral obligation to help build an industry that commits to righting the many wrongs that have persisted in the cannabis sector for decades.  And as Houseplant continues to grow, so will its plans to contribute to the expungement of criminal records and the employment of those unjustly targeted and incarcerated worldwide for non-violent cannabis crimes.
