In a show of its ardent efforts to up its scale of production to meet Canada’s cannabis demand, expected to reach 1 million kilograms per year, Canopy Growth Corporation transported 100,000 budding marijuana plants to its new greenhouse in B.C.
On Thursday, Canopy transported one of its biggest shipments made of 100,000 marijuana, or clones, from its nursery in the province of Ontario to its new greenhouse in Delta, B.C.

En route to its new home, the cargo was unloaded into a convoy of trucks, which were escorted by armed security guards in armored vans.
In Langley, B.C., Canopy Growth Corporation has one of the largest marijuana production facility in the world, with 1.2 million square feet of growing space.
But the Ontario-grown marijuana headed to Canopy’s new Delta greenhouse, which is expected to measure 1.7 million square feet.
CBC News said Canopy’s greenhouse in Delta still isn’t quite ready for the massive shipment.
