Chicago police dog sniffs out $10 million worth in cannabis

More than $10 million of cannabis was sniffed out by a police dog in Chicago.

The police dog’s natural ability in sniffing marijuana landed Jason Tanner with a charge for possessing more than 5,000 grams of cannabis.

The truck which was hauling a trailer was pulled over by Chicago officers on Thursday in Menard Avenue, Midlothian.

They suspected that it was involved in drug trafficking.

The police confiscated over 1,500 pounds of cannabis. Tanner, who is originally from California, is being detained at Cook County Jail on $50,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
