Florida Patient Demand Pushes U.S. Pot Company’s Revenue up by 253%

The Canada-based U.S. Liberty Health Sciences Inc. (OTCQX: LHSIF) has reported a 253 percent increase in its monthly revenue since the start of 2018.

The surge in revenue is due to the unprecedented growth in the number of registered medical cannabis patients, who increased by 46 percent to reach over 93,000 patients and the number of recommending physicians are up by 44 percent in the U.S. state of Florida.

As Florida residents become “educated” on the benefits from cannabis to treat certain qualifying conditions, and more physicians recommend medical marijuana, the “registered patient count in Florida is expected to continue to increase rapidly,” the company said in recent a statement.

After this whopping surge, the company is “expanding its home delivery model to bring 24-hour delivery service to patients across southern Florida.”

Liberty has Cannabis Education Centers, “which we are continuing to roll-out across the state,” Director and CEO of the company George Scrosis said.

These centers “provide comprehensive education, resources and compassionate one-on-one consultations geared towards educating patients on cannabis use as a safe treatment alternative to treat their symptoms,” he added.

With little support and heavy opposition from Florida’s elected officials, medical marijuana passed in 2016 with 71 percent of the vote.
