‘Grandma Stinker’ charged with drug dealing after receiving a shipment of marijuana.
A package containing 720 grams of marijuana was shipped to 58-year-old Debra Ferguson from her son Eric Anderson. The package was addressed to “Grandma Stinker” was delivered to her home in Aurora, Indiana.
After an investigation, it was discovered by Law Officials that the woman was receiving packages of marijuana in the mail on a regular basis from her son who resides in California. Ferguson is now being charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, corrupt business influence, conspiracy to deal marijuana, dealing in marijuana, dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic, and maintaining a common nuisance.
A warrant charges of corrupt business influence, conspiracy to deal marijuana, and dealing in marijuana has been issued for her son, Anderson, who has been her supplier of the substances.
Law officials stated that they started investigating the matter after another citizen reported that the “Grandma Stinker” was receiving these packages. Aurora Police Chief Josh Daugherty stated that after acquiring the search warrant, many narcotic prescription medications packaged for delivery along with multiple packages of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, packaging supplies, cell phones and an undisclosed amount of cash were found at Ferguson’s residence.
