Recreational weed is now legal in California. But only a few shops are ready for New Years Day.
The day many cannabis enthusiasts in California have been waiting for has finally arrived. New years day welcomes a whole new flock of excited customers in California looking to buy recreational marijuana.
While some stores are operating, others could not open because they did not obtain permits on both a local and state level. The amount of licenses the Cannabis Control regulatory body has to process has made life difficult for prospective dispensaries.
