Regina Marijuana Dispensary Raided, Three Men Arrested
REGINA — Three men are facing charges following a police raid on a marijuana dispensary in Regina.
Police say customers were asked to leave when officers searched the dispensary around suppertime on Friday.
Police also searched the home of one of the suspects.
A large quantity of cannabis, cannabis resin and cash were seized during the searches.
It’s the second time the dispensary has been raided — it was one of six police searched in March.
Regina police issued a warning to dispensary owners earlier this year that they must comply with current federal laws until recreational pot is legalized in October
Cameron Gordon Graham, 35; Ryan Dustin Akehurst, 32; and Darian Mitchell Tonge, 27, face several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, which police say was a Taser.
The three have been released on bail and are to appear in court Oct. 3.
