The Cannabis Society gears up to host its monthly conference in Toronto

Toronto — The Cannabis Society will be having its monthly conference on Wednesday, June 27 in Toronto.

Attended by industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers, the conference will give an opportunity to meet and make deals within the cannabis community. Hosted by Norton Rose Fulbright in the heart of downtown Toronto, the conference focuses on investments and emerging opportunities within the cannabis space, especially with recreational legalization is imminent.

The Cannabis Society is an offshoot of The Entrepreneurship Society, which is a larger organization that focuses on forging connections with business owners from various fields and industries. The Cannabis Society focuses more on connections within the marijuana field.

The monthly event features panels and discussions for anyone interested in the marijuana sector.

Q&A periods

Q&A periods will allow attendees to dispel any uncertainties they may have while permitting them to learn and connect with other influential leaders, who have tread the waters before them. This month’s panel includes a discussion on business lifestyle and the benefits of medical cannabis.

The June speakers will feature a slew of cannabis business experts from a variety of different fields, including Lee Silverstone of 3Leaf Edibles, Anne K. Gallop of Norton Rose Fulbright, Barrington Miller of Canadian Securities Exchange, Bojan Krasic of BeLeave, Michael Garbuz of Canna Royalty, Anthony Durkacz of First Republic Capital, Rubsun Ho of CrowdMatrix, Jason Fleming of MedReleaf, and Peter Tieu of The Puff Puff Post.

As with previous events, deal-making opportunities will also be available during cocktail hour.
