More and more cannabis companies are offering new CBD products lines for pet-owners.

Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC: MJNA), the U.S.’s first publicly traded cannabis company, has launched Phyto Animal Health, a new line of products, consisting of cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil supplements, it said on Tuesday.

The company said the supplements work to “support healthy hips and joints, promote cardiovascular function, and maintain neurological balance.”

These CBD hemp oil supplements, researched by health experts, contain essential fatty acids and terpenes, the fragrant oils that give cannabis its aromatic diversity.

One of the supplements is Pet Vitality product, it contains “100 mg or 500 mg of CBD combined with [Medium-chain triglycerides] MCT oil,” the company said.

MCTs have fatty acids like the ones found in coconut and palm kernel oil.

“This blend is all-natural and is best for medium to large-sized cats and dogs,” it said. It added: “This product promotes emotional balance, the immune system and muscle relaxation for lessened anxiety.”

Phyto Animal Health also offers an all-natural and chemical-free Hemp Bedding and Litter, which are “two times more absorbent than straw or wood shavings and has significantly less dust.”

Medical Marijuana, Inc. CEO Dr. Stuart Titus. said:

“We’ve seen the popularity of our CBD products for humans grow significantly in recent years and look forward to achieving the same type of success in the animal health and wellness market.”
