Research confirms that cannabidiol has the ability to treat and maybe even cure skin diseases, such as eczema and psoriasis.

It has been proven that cannabidiol(CBD) holds anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-itch qualities.

Researchers at the University of Colorado claim that the substance is more effective than the commonly prescribed steroids.

One of the lead researchers, Dr. Robert Dellavalle explained that many people do not like using steroids.

“There’s a large segment of the population that doesn’t like using steroids, even if they are topical steroids on their skin. CBD could be an alternative, natural product for them to try.

Doctors and researchers are very keen to evaluate the benefits of using marijuana.

The National Eczema Association (NEA) stated that previous research already proved this theory and provided a reference to its success.

It is understood that CBD works well with the skin receptors, reducing the activity of the disease.

In addition, Dr. Henry Granger Piffard, one of the founders of American dermatology stated that he is an example of the CBD being effective.

A pill of cannabis indica at bedtime has at my hands sometimes afforded relief to the intolerable itching of eczema.”
